One person, in Winnipeg, building this properly

My name is Pengda Chen. I build and run TableNote on my own, as a sole proprietor registered in Manitoba. There is no sales team, no offshore call centre and no investor behind this. When you reply to an email from TableNote, I am the one who reads it.

It is one line of code you paste into your existing website. After that, a chat box on your own site answers diners’ questions from your real menu, hours and policies — and takes their reservation in the same conversation, at eleven at night, without anyone picking up the phone.

It runs on a flat monthly price with no per-cover fee. It does not put your restaurant on somebody else’s marketplace, and it does not charge you for diners who were already yours.

I build a working preview of a restaurant’s own site — their real menu, their real hours, a booking button that actually books — and then send the owner the link. That is the whole pitch. You look at it for thirty seconds and decide.

I only email addresses a restaurant has published publicly on its own website, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe that works. If you would rather I didn’t, say so once and I won’t.

TableNote is new. It is not used by hundreds of restaurants, and I am not going to put a fake customer count on a page to make you feel better about it. What I can offer is that I will set it up for you myself, in person if you are in Winnipeg, and that you can cancel any month you like.
